Mimer SQL Data Provider Trace Control is available for Windows (x86 and x64), Linux (x64) and macOS (x64). It is distributed through the Windows installer package (.msi) for the Mimer SQL Data Provider.
Upon installation of the Mimer SQL Data Provider, the Trace Control application is placed in the Mimer SQL Data Provider installation folder in the subfolder TraceControl. From there it can be copied to the desired machine where trace is to be configured. Copy the entire folder for the desired platform (win-x86, win-x64, linux-x64 or osx-x64) to the target machine. The folder contains the application executable and the libraries that the application needs.
The Mimer SQL Data Provider installation creates a Windows shorcut to the win-x64 executable locally on the machine where it is installed.
To start the Trace Control, simply run the executable in the copied folder. On Linux, you might have to run the command chmod +x on the application file in order to make it executable.
