User statistics displays information about users currently logged into the database server.

The following user statistics are displayed: Mimer SQL user name, channel number, connection state, start transaction number, name of operating system user, network protocol and client address information.

Channel numbers can be used as parameters to the mimcontrol utility in order to explicitly log out users from the server.

The connection state indicates whether the database server is currently processing a request from the application in which case the text Busy is displayed.

A start transaction number indicates that the user has an active transaction. The number indicates the point in time when the transaction was started.

The name of the operating system user is only provided for local connections.

The network protocol can have the values Local, TCP or Pipe.

The client address information is set to the IP address for TCP/IP clients and to the operating system process id for local clients.
