The Upgrade wizard is used to convert database files from an older versions format to the current version internal database format.

The wizard is typically invoked after a local database definition has been saved in the Mimer Administrator. The system checks if it can find the old database files and asks whether to perform an upgrade or not.The other way to start the wizard is to right-click on the local database, and select the menu-option Upgrade from the popup-menu.
