Remote Performance Monitoring

By default only local database servers can be viewed in the Windows Performance monitor. By setting this option the remote database is included in the list of databases accessible from the performance monitor.

Note: If a database located on a remote node is sometimes inaccessible, or has a slow network connection, selecting it may affect the responsiveness of the performance monitor. In this case, only enable the remote database when it needs to be monitored.
