Specifying a Path
Example: "C:\MIMER\DB1"
A path is usually composed of a drive specification and the directory specification. In the example shown above, the drive specification is "C:" and "\MIMER\DB1" is the directory specification. You must specify an absolute directory path for the database home directory, i.e. a path that starts with a "\", otherwise a relative path below the current directory is assumed. Since the default directory of the database server is usually not known, a relative path may not use the intended location.
